Student for a Day Lecture 3 – Strengthening Connections Between Students (and Their Neurons!) in the Classroom: A Team-Based Approach to Learning in the Neuroscience Major
In this guest lecture, Dr. Thomas Newpher will discuss how he uses team-based learning in neuroscience education to increase student learning and sense of belonging. He will also discuss the cellular and molecular mechanisms responsible for strengthening of synapses, and how these processes relate to classroom learning.
